161 sensitive schools to get arms licences
RAWALPINDI: Under the directives of Punjab government, education department of Rawalpindi district has issued forms to 161 sensitive schools of the city for supply of arms to them.
Licences would be issued in the names of heads of these schools. The education department has directed the headmasters of these schools to fill in the forms and file them in arms branch of DCO office so that arms licences could be issued to them for security purposes in schools. The forms have been issued to 161 A plus and A category schools in the first phase. These schools had deposited Rs 11,27,000 out of their funds for obtaining the arms licences.
