Illiterate nation

Illiteracy is strengthening its roots in our country because of the lack of effective policies and regulation in the education sector. Since education is the backbone of any nation’s development, this problem is becoming a hurdle for Pakistanis who are falling behind in the world.

The HEC needs to raise the standards of education by increasing the education budget and guaranteeing students a secure learning environment. Moreover, they should design a free and compulsory education system till a certain grade. Most importantly, however, these schools must have qualified teachers who are chosen strictly on the basis of merit.
