Girls’ education

Dasht is a much neglected area of district Kech in terms of education, specifically girls’ education where the majority of girls are illiterate. To educate women is very important for the prosperity and development of a country but it is very disheartening to note that 89 percent girls are out of schools on account of the scarcity of girls’ schools in Dasht.
Above all, education for girls is next to nothing since we cannot find a well-organised girls’ primary school. It is a matter of huge concern that due to the negligence of the government, the female literacy rate is very low in Balochistan. The concerned authorities and education department are requested to pay attention to improving the literacy rate among girls in Dasht.
