Education pressure forces two girls to end lives

WEB DESK: Aisha, a girl student of Gojra, committed suicide as she could not obtain sufficient marks in the Matriculation Examination conducted on Sunday by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

It is reported that she was desirous of getting admission in the medical college but the poor number of marks obtained by her did not qualify her to get this admission. Frustrated over this situation, she took poisonous pills and ended her life.
Another girl student of Tandlianwala, Iqra, also swallowed poisonous pills and thus attempted suicide as she did not qualify herself for admission in first year. She was saved by timely medication in hospital.
