Sheffield Hallam University is the best modern university in the north of England with eight subjects ranked in the top 20 in the UK (The Times and Sunday Times, 2015). It is one of the UK's most popular universities with over 34,000 students.
The University is an established study destination for students from Pakistan and we have a dedicated office in Lahore. We offer undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD options across four faculties. Popular study choices for Pakistani students include business and management, computing, engineering, law and public health.
Many of our courses are accredited by professional bodies so are guaranteed to meet industry-wide standards. Our postgraduate courses offer start dates in both September and January, with a number of courses also starting in May and November.
Employability and work placements
You may have the opportunity to complete a work placement alongside or as part of your course. Our students have previously completed placements with major employers including Rolls-Royce, Newcastle United Football Club and Sony Entertainment.
Our courses are designed and delivered in close partnership with employers and professional associations to ensure that students have every opportunity to build the contacts and skills they need n their chosen careers.
Our MBA gives you the opportunity to put your learning into practice with a work-based consultancy assignment as well as an optional 12-month industrial placement. You have the opportunity to learn and network with MBA colleagues in our dedicated MBA study suite and boardroom. You also graduate with internationally-recognised Chartered Manager status to demonstrate your professionalism and commitment to continuing professional development.

Sheffield is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with a large Pakistani community. It has many places of worship, including a large central mosque. City Campus is in the heart of the city centre and Collegiate Campus is in the centre of one of the city's liveliest and most student-friendly districts.
